Outlook will not download e-meil.

Starting yesterday mu computer stopped downloading my e-mail from Comcast. I
can see the mail on the internet but can't download via outlook 2007

What leads you to believe this is an Outlook problem?

I have the same problem, starting today. I receive error 0x800406000 when
trying to download my comcast email account to Outlook..Thunderbird works
fine. Also, all my emails in my inbox are gone but remain in my other
folders. Any suggestions?

Try a new mail profile.
