Outlook will not launch outlook.exe already running

Outlook 2002 will not start.
Task manager shows OUTLOOK.EXE running on the Processes tab.
If I end the process manually, then Outlook will launch. I have to do this
nealy every time.

Any ideas how I can sort this out?
