Outlook will not prompt for profile to open when box is checked

The box to "prompt for profile to be used" is checked, but Outlook 2003 will
not prompt for profile to be used. Many thanks for any help resolving this.

It sounds like Outlook is already or still running then. This is often the
caused by 3rd party applications that you have installed.
