Outlook will not send out e-mail

When I am trying to send emails, my Outlook (2003) is not
recognizing
emails. When I click on "To" and look in my contact
list, the emails are
listed, but Outlook isn't recognizing them like it
usually does. Has anyone
else experienced this, and if so, please help!

I am having the same problem. Here's what I've found, but
I'm not happy with the solution.maybe we'll hear better.

When I fill my addresses with the autofill from my
contacts - it seems to cause the problem. The Mail is
just ignored in the outbox, as if it wasn't there.

If I reopen the mail from the Outbox, and delete and hand
type the addresses - IT makes NO difference!!!
(I did just read that saving it to drafts, then reopening
helps.)

I then copy the mail body, create a new mail message,
paste it all in, THEN, manually type each address in. It
still wraps them with single quotes, but I guess is not
linking with the contacts list.

They then send immediately. Fortunately this does not
happen all the time. And I do not send to big list.
