Outlook will not shut down

It seems that after installing AIM and Yahoo messenger,
Outlook will not shut down. When I close the application
it looks as though it shuts down but the outlook.exe
process still shows in task manager.

Windows XP Pro SP1
Office XP SP1
P4 2.7GHz
Memory 512

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
