outlook won't close

The knowledge center refers to this problem as OL98:

When I close the program, it keeps running. The article
says that Microsoft has a fix, but the fix isn't listed
or shown as downloadable. It does say I can pay 35
dollars for the fix though!

Does anyone have this fix or know where I can get it?

If you apply
http://download.microsoft.com/download/outlook98/Update/98/WIN98/EN-US/o98Attch.exe,
then you would be above the version number that is listed in that article.
(Note: This update will introduce a new security feature that will force you
to save specific file types to the drive before opening. This gives your
up-to-date antivirus a chance to scan the file.)

By the way, there are 3rd party application that can keep Outlook in memory
after select File | Exit. Some 3rd party applications are WinFax, Microsoft
Fax, Antivirus, and PDA sync software.
