When I try to open Outlook 2007, it won't open and I get the error message
"Borland database engine not installed. Can't load Corel address book
service provider" I'm not using Corel Address Book. Does anyone have any
suggestios on how to remedy this problem?

Did you ever use corel address book? Did you look in the profile to see if
its listed as an address book? (tools, accounts, address book tab)

This is a new computer that I've been setting up. I only opened it when I
was setting it up and it worked then. I've since installed a bunch of other
software and now it won't open. It won't open in safe mode either, I get the
same Borland database error message.

Yes, I did use an older version of Corel Address book to address envelopes in
Office 2000 and I did load that version of Corel Suite on this new computer
and I believe I loaded Corel after I had installed Office 2007. Perhaps I
should uninstall the Corel Suite?

I'd check the mail profile first - control panel, mail or right click on the
outlook icon on the start menu and choose properties. Delete the Corel
address book if its listed on the address book tab.
