outlook wont read/send hotmail

The last days outlook 2002 and outlook express wont read/send hotmail.I keep
getting the window for inputting user name and password.I know the password
is correct because i login with IE.
Im using windows XP pro.Last changes:
Update of root certificate from Verisign (perhaps this is the problem?)
Installation of Spybot.

Help please.Its really annoying having to go through IE everytime i want
something from my mail!
