Installed Office XP on a new machine running Win XP. The installation went
without a flaw until I set up Outlook. It will not save the password
associated with the User ID, regardless of hom many times the "save
password" box is checked. I've tried the fix "remove user account
information" which requires opening the registry and that doesn't work.
I've searched for answeres and see where others have had similar problems,
but still can't locate a successful "fix" to this issue.
I've even uninstalled and reinstalled both the operating system and office,
still to no avail. Seems like someone has come accross this and actually
"worked" a fix. If so, I'm all ears.
