Outlook XP and Lotus Notes missing text

I am getting emails from a client with Lotus Notes and am not getting the
message text. I have read the KB articles related to previous versions of
Outlook, but find nothing on Outlook 2002 or Outlook XP.

I do not have access to an Exchange Server - I'm just set up like an
ordinary home user would be.

I can see part of the text if in the autopreview mode, so my "symptoms"
match the KB articles I have read. This is an extremely serious problem
since it is a major client. It's incredible to me that there isn't something
on the subject - yet I have not been able to find anything at all about how
to address it.
