Outlook Xp contacts

I have a friend who has upgraded from OL2000 to OLXp and
in the upgrade all his display names are now e-mail
addresses. Is there an easy way to replace these with the
first,last in the contact?

You can change the Display As field in the Contact Record to whatever you
want.

The guy with the problem has 2000+ contacts and has to
change each one indivdually, i was hoping there was a
quick fix for this.

No way to change the Display As field globally from the GUI. You can post in
a programming group to see if there is a programmatic method.
Interesting. This change in the Display As field was made in response to
users' requests.
