I am having a problem with Outlook XP connecting to an exchange server. The
PC is running W2K SP4 with all of the hotfixes. The problem is when Outlook
tries to attach to the exchange server it pops up a windows saying "Outlook
is retrieving data from the Microsoft Exchange Server etc." After about 5 to
10 minutes it errors out saying that it couldn't connect to the exchange
server. The pc can ping the exchange server and I can browse through My
Network Places to see the server. I have already reinstalled TCP/IP, deleted
the orginal profile for Outlook. I have done a detect and repair on Outlook
and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the entire Office XP suite. None of
these things have worked. Does anybody have any clue as to where I should go
from here?
