When I type the name of a distribution list on the "To" line and do check
names, is there any way to then choose only part of the distribution list to
send the email to rather than the whole thing.

This is an option in Office 2003 (there is a little [+] next to the email
that does it) and apparently it used to do it in Office 97.

Can anyone help?

Outlook 2003 is the first client to allow the user to expand a personal
distribution list on the fly. About the only thing I can think of is a
macro that simulates the expansion.

Just as a point of interest, could you kick me in the direction of the sort
of code I would need to do that sort of macro. WOuld I need to do a
replacement for the check names?

Cheers,
