Outlook XP

I have outlook xp installed and have my inbox split into different folders.
The problem i have is my INBOX when viewed has 4 importance flags. Every
other sub folder has 1. when i try to remove the importance field xp, shut
down and re-starts. i have tried everything appart from a re-install (dont
really want to do that). i am serviced packed up and have all the latest
updates installed so am soewhat confued.

any help waould be appreciated.

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanviews command switch.
