I loaded Outlook 2002 on my computer. When I try to open
Outlook, I get the following message. "Your microsoft
exchange server is unavailable". I have window XP, cable
modem, and outlook has been set as default mail.
How come I can't use outlook? I have outlook express,
but don't want to delete it until outlook is working?

Are you trying to connect to an Exchange server? Have you established a VPN
to the server's network before running Outlook? You need to specify a
little more information about how you wish to use Outlook.

Go to control panel, mail applet and create a new profile. You only need
exchange in the profile if you connect to an exchange profile.
