I am running Office 2000 with Windows XP Professional. In Outlook 200 new
addresses are automatically added to the "Contacts" list. However when I
"click" -new mail- none of these new addresses appear in the drop-down list.
How can I get these two "lists" synchronised?

Presumably you have two contacts folders?
Drag each contact to primary (outlook address book) contact folder, or
Properties for this folder are ticked for use as an outlook address book?
