I have created a folder with contact items (emails). I
want to send the complete folder to a friend how can I
send it?

Have you tried exporting the folder out to a file? Then
your friend can import it on their end.

Create a new PST. Copy the folder to that PST. Close it in Outlook.
Restart Outlook. Zip up the PST and mail it to your friend. Your friend
can then unzip it and use File>Open in Outlook to open it. S/he should
avoid importing.
