I operate XP and have the included Outlook Express.

Is it possible to upgrade this to Outlook or purchase a
stand alone version without also having to buy Office?

If so, what is the manufacturere's recommended price for
the Outlook software?

Installing Outlook does not upgrade Outlook Express any more than installing
Excel upgrades Word. They're two completely distinct applications.

Certainly, but you'll pay almost as much for it.

Google. You'll get lots of places that sell it. Retail is about US$100.
Buy.com has it for $90, Provantage for $84. Office Student&Teacher Edition
is about $125.
