Outlook2000: update to SP3 without Office installed?

B

Bryce Stenberg

Hi,

Does anyone know how to update Outlook 2000 to service pack 3 when you don't
have MS Office installed on the machine? When I try to run the downloaded
'Outlook 2000 sp3' from Microsoft's web site it turns out to be Office SP3,
and it of course tells me "The expected version of the product was not found
on your system".

Outllook was originally installed from a TechNet CD. It would be nice to be
able to patch it.

Any ideas please?

Regards,
Bryce Stenberg.

Hi Milly,

I re-installed Outlook from an Office 2000 disk and now I can apply the
updates.

Thanks for that,
Regards, Bryce.
