Apparent oversized attachment blocking inbox,cannot clear
to receive new msgs. Any suggestions? Microsoft help
areas not helping.

Does your ISP give you access to your mail via the web? If so, log in there
and see if you can delete the offending message that way.

As Jocelyn said, use web mail if you can. Otherwise, just emulate a POP
client with telnet and delete the message with POP commands. Google to find
out how. I and others have posted the method several times.
