Outlook2003 can't open Word2003 as text editor

I recently installed the above on a pavilion ze4600 hp
laptop. Outlook works fine, but when I choose Word as my
text editor, and go to write a new email, a message pops
up and says Word is unavailable, but doesn't tell me
why...though it suggests it's busy, or corruted, or such.
As far as I can tell, Word is fine. Any ideas? Email me

Do you have an older version of Word still installed?
This message will occur every time you open the older Word
version. To solve your problem, simply exit Outlook, open
then close Word 2003, and open Outlook again. Hope this
helps. :)
