Outlook2003- images not being sent

Hi there,

We are having a problem with images embedding and being sent with the email.
This problem is currently affecting our users who are running their Outlook
2003 via remote desktops straight from our server (running win server 2003).

The images appear as a red 'x' and from looking at the source code for the
HTML email, it is showing the img src to be a local link to their documents
and settings.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks

Use Plain Text when sending images from Outlook. RTF and HTMLformat in Outlook normally will cause this.

Hi Peter,

Changing to plain text removes them and the formatting for the signature all
together.

I just realized I forgot to say that the images are meant to be embedded in
the signature

You also forgot to say that it is the Signature

Well Megan all I can say that you cannot do this in Outlook 2003. If someone knows different I am sure they will correct me.

Sorry about the missing information.... I wrote it quickly at work today and
it is a problem I have been working on for a while so forgot the important
information!

I know it can work because the rest of the company (including myself) has it
working.... it is just this small group of people who are running Outlook
2003 via remote desktops from one of our servers.

Thanks Peter for your suggestions anyway.

I'd still appreciate any other help if anyone has a solution...?
