Could someone please tell me how to manage the bar now. I have about 60 old
task folders and outlook put them all in the "My Task" section.

Do I have to right click and delete one at a time???

You can select multiples as you would in any Windows list using the Shift
Key for ranges or the Ctrl Key for singles and then right click and select
delete.

First, to prevent more from being created, set the permissions on the folder
to not allow creating new folders. Right click on default folder (may be
Tasks or it may be Tasks60 - it's the one a new task goes to if you create a
task when the inbox is open.) and choose properties. On the permissions tab
select each group or user with permission to the folder and uncheck create
folder.

Assuming you want to delete them from the message store, not just from the
tasks pane - go to folder list and drag them to another task folder. When
you are done dragging, you'll have the real task folder and 1 task folder
with 58 subfolders. Delete that one. It'll save you a bunch Ok'ing. :) This
should remove them from the navigation pane too.

Yeah I don't want to disable creating new folders or delete them. I just
want to be able to tame My Tasks.

Assume I don't want to Delete them -> there is no alternative...?
