outlook2003 rules disappear

Hello,

A few weeks ago i've installed Office2003 and (because my
work has outlook too) Outlook2003. The fact is now that i
can't find the rulez wizard..

Is there an option that hide the rules wizard from Outlook
or something?

Click on your INBOX to highlight. Then activate the TOOLS menu. Do you
now see Rules and Alerts... ?

Maybe because the way outlook was installed, ie POP or HTTP it won't work
with rules, since rules primarily works with a server based e-mail system
like exchange. Can you customize your menus, and look at the options for
Tools... do you see a tag for teh Rules and Alerts?

Well, i bother don't know.. The fact is that the
rules in Outlook Express works fine. I can import
the rules, the contacts etc to Outlook2003, but
the fact is still that i miss the rulesoption in
the tools menu.

i can see the rules option under tools but when i click it, the rules box appears for at best one second and then disappears

i've tried "reparing" outlook, starting outlook in "cleanrules" mode, and it still doesn't work

any ideas?
