Sorry if my post appears, but for last 3 hours it is not (on "General" NG)

Hi

regarding this blog about Outlook 2007 security:
http://blogs.msdn.com/nav_developer/archive/2008/05/09/e-mail-logging-when-using-outlook-2007.aspx

how can I write registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Security
DWORD: ObjectModelGuard
Value = 2
to all users on my network, when they are not admin's?

or

When I go to Tools->Trust center->Programmatic access, those options are
disabled (when logged as "normal" user.
When I logged (on same PC as Admin), they are enabled, and I can set it, but
whe again log's as "normal" user, they
are disabled and I can not set it to "Newer warn me ..."

Thank you
Zdravko

Use Group Policies or a startup script to deploy the key instead.
Or simply install a virus scanner within your environment and there won't be
any need to deploy that key at all.

Hi
thank you for your mail.
I am using Avast antivirus, and they have Outlook addin (it loads each time
when Outlook start)
but Outlook says that there is no antivirus.
Windows firewall says also there is no antivirus.
Can you please tell me more about "startup script to deploy the key", or
where I can see more info about that.

Thank you

Hi
actually, I am not admin.
I need to see how to deploy small "CRM" application based on Outlook engine.
Everything is OK except this registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Security]
"ObjectModelGuard"=dword:00000002

Need to find way that this key are written to all users from user who has
admin rights.

Thank you
Zdravko
