Outlook2007 in vista cannot connect to Exchange 2003 xp pro client

P

Peter Meehan

when I try and make a mapi connection from a Vista PC with outlook 2007 to
Exchange 2003 I get prompted for a username and password and then get the
error: outlook cannot logon. verify you are connected to the network and are
using the correct server and mailbox name. The connection to Microsoft
Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online to complete this action.
I can connect to shares from the vista client on the exchange server and I
have no problems connecting to the same mailbox using an XP Pro machine.
I can also move the mailbox from this exchnage server to another exchnage
server 2003 in a different site and then connect without problem using the
same vista pc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
