when trying to apply the above fix from MS, I get an error message

The expected version of the product was not found on the system

my OL version is 12.0.6300.500 SP1 MSO 12.0.6213.1000

The fix is for large pst files

When you have a problem with an update, I believe support is free. Open an
incident with Microsoft.
