Outlook2K3 Size column format item 3 should work (differently fro.

P

This is really a bug; but I can't find a place to post that type of
information...

Right-click any column in Inbox view, click "Field Chooser"
Scroll down to "Size", left-click-and-drag to inbox columns.
Right-click new size column in Inbox view, click "Format Columns..."
Click the Format drop-list expand button and click 3rd item ("Computer -
640K; 2.3M; 3.1G")
Click OK.

The format of the size column is now shown in multiples of K instead of the
format selected. Which should be the same as ("Computer - 640KB; 2.3MB;
3.1GB"), but with only a 1 character metric abbreviation.

I can duplicate the problem here in OL2003 SP1. Apparently, selecting the
"Computer - 640K; 2.3M; 3.1G" format actually applies the "Computer - 640 K;
2,300 K; 3,100,000 K" format. I'll pass the information about this bug along
to Microsoft.
