Hi,
I have a client who recently purchased a notebook for use
in the office and also on the road.
The office: MS SBS2000 - Exchange Server
Home : Shared ADSL connection
Road : Dialup - either copper or CDMA
Offline files have been enabled for both document files
and also OutlookXP.
We can retrieve email from the office Exchange server and
also from other POP3 accounts, whether on or off site.
When it comes to sending message when off site the fun
begins.
Option 1. I have configured an additional email account
specifying the Exchange server addy, for the incoming,
and the client's ISP SMTP for the outgoing. Incoming mail
is retrieved ok, but messages get stuck in the Outbox.
Option 2. As above but set up a "Group" under Tools-
That all said, some have been sent successfully and have
move to the Sent Folder.
