Tried resetting and reapplying the default Messages view?
View-> Current View-> Define Views-> Messages-> Reset-> Apply View

OK. Now I have the reader pane re-abled.

Using OL2007; Win XP - suddenly my reader pane is gone from all email views.
The reader pane option is set to "bottom" in the CURRENT VIEW>MESSAGES>DEFINE
VIEWS>MODIFY>OTHER OPTIONS tabs.
butti will not display.
I have turned it off, then on [without restart]. I have read and used the
tips in this thread and nothing changed.
Any more options/actions?
