We have several workstations that are running XP Pro
(w/out sp2) and Office 2003. When the customer clicks on
Outlook they get error stating cannot start microsoft
office outlook. the program is not registered properly.
Please reinstall."
We have reinstalled and it fixes the problem temporarily.
We have also renamed and recreated the user profile on the
w/s and it also fixes the problem temporarily. If I give
the user admin rights to the w/s it allows him to open but
as soon as I set them back to a regular user account it
gives them the error again. We don't allow any users to
have admin or power user rights on the w/s so that
solution does not work. We have given local user full
perms to everything on the computer, did not help. Have
reinstalled office, did not work. Does anyone have any
solution?? Thank you.
