I have the report...I have the form...I have a macro connected to a "send
report to file" button set to output the report as an .rtf file to the hard
drive. All works great except that, depending on which of two queries I use
for the report output, I am either asked for the unique report control number
or all the records are filed (as one huge report) to the specified file. My
last inquiry taught me how to write a macro to get a print preview of the
current record shown on the entry form. How would I get the current record
to automatically output to my specified file location? Field name for unique
record is "PN #", form name is "Fund Transfers", report name is "Fund
Transfer Narrative". Form/subform is built on two tables, report is built
from query using several tables. One caveat...i haven't yet taken the time
to teach myself VBA so I am using the macro builder....thanks in advance for
