Output to CD /DVD to show on player w/ TV

Family member wants to create presentation and save to CD (1st choice since
installed iin computer) or DVD to show on player attached to TV set.
Best method & file types?

Hi,
You can make use of software like camtasia to record the presentation, then
using nero express to burn them into a cd.

Check this out, which provides you with a number of tutorials that contains
both converting into vcd and dvd:
