Outputting to XML

Hi There,

I'm hoping someone can help me, I'm using MS Access 2003 to generate
reports, I have several marco's setup to output reports in different formats
to locations on my internal network.

The problem I have is I now have a request to provide a daily output in the
format xml. This is not a problem with I run the query and then select File >
Export and file type XML, however its not an automated process so it means
someone has to manually run the query and save the xml to the file share.

On checking the available formats for the Outputto function in the macro's I
see no xml format available, does anyone know how I could send out a report
in xml format using a macro?

If you have msxml there is an easy way to export sql statements to xml, although the format isn't that wonderful, you can apply an xslt to the xml to get what you want.

I'm not sure whether you can do that with a macro. You can certainly do it
with VBA code. There are a number of articles on the subject of Access and
