Overallocated resource reports

We're just getting into looking at resource allocations. We are using the
2007 web access resource center views, and they work well. At least we
understand them. Project Pro has a overallocated resource report. Here's my
problem. When we run the overallocated resource report, the results vary by
PM. As an example: I ran the report with project A open. My associate runs
the same report using project A. The results are different. I get the
resource overallocations including other projects, my associate does not. We
are both set up as administrators. It must have something to do with
ownership, at either a task or project level. I even had one PM tell it was
based on what plan(s) they had open at the time, but I haven't a chance to
confirm this one yet. Can someone, tell me the secret? I can't seem to find
in any documentation.

When you launch Project Professional 2007, deselect the "Load summary
resource assignments" option in the Login dialog and then click OK. Then
open one or more projects and display the Overallocated Resource report.
This should give you more consistent results. Hope this helps.
