Overlaying text in text box

I'm trying to create 2 text boxes, both with text, then combine them so that
the text in box 2 overlays the text in box 1.

The background in a box is not transparent. You won't be able to see the
text in the box 1.

Select the textbox and on the Drawing toolbar (usually at the bottom of the
screen) choose the Fill Color icon (looks like a paintbucket) and click No
Fill.

Thank you Echo, I wasn't aware that "No Fill" is transparent!

Happy to help. (I learn a lot from you -- it's good to be able to return the
favor occasionally.)
