override a cell

The whole column A begin with SP, and I wont to add different number
on each row after the SP. how do I do that with out I should have to g
in to each cell

Shlomop,

If you type in SP1 into a cell, then click, hold and drag the fill handle
sown the column, Excel will autofill SP2, SP3, etc.....
