overwrite specific 'quick parts' - HELP!

I have created a form with both book marks and quick parts, on completion I lock the document and save it as an XML 2003 form. My client wants to be able to overwrite three specific quick parts in this form. In my experience it's not possible. The client gave me an XML form that was created in 2014 in which 3 of the quick parts she can overwrite. I'm do not have permission to share these 2 forms with the forum.

How can I do that? I need to get this done by 1pm Pacific time.

The solution depends on how you're 'locking' the document. If you're using forms protection, simply add Section breaks either side of the portion to remain editable, then leave that Section unprotected when applying the forms protection.
