Overwriting Actuals

B

Buzzy

Issue at hand is, had problems with a project file, and deleted it from the
server. Had a recent backup, and imported it into the server, mapped
resources, and the project is on the server.

Went to republish assignments, ans everyone got their assignments, however,
the actuals (historical actuals through 30 NOV) are nowhere to be found in
the PWA.

Went to republish, overwriting the actuals, and the file updating process
just stops. I'm stumped.

I know it could be a million things that make it stop, but all other
functionality works, simply republishing, updating timesheets, etc. I just
can not overwrite actuals, and people will not be able to update past work,
if it ever becomes necessary. they aren't there in the PWA. I'd have to do it
manually in the file itself.

Any help in what I MIGHT be missing?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

When you republished the assignments using Collaborate - Publish - Republish
Assignments, you must select the "Overwrite actual work entered by
resources" option in the Republish Assignments dialog. Doing so will "push"
the actuals to each user's timesheet. Hope this helps.
