In Word, click on Tools | Options | Save. Is the "Always create backup copy"
box checked? If so, then the previous version of your document should be
saved with a .wbk extension in the same folder as the current version. If
not, then you're out of luck.
If no previous version was saved, there will be no backup file. You have to
have saved at least twice to get a .wbk file.
