Overwrote word document

I have a word document that i did a save instead of save as, so my data was
overwriten. Is it possible to get it back from my c drive?

maybe.

word usually has
cache files in those
folders and it
might be that your
old document is there.

look for files that
have tildes ~ or tmp
or bak in the filename.

if you find a file with
a similar filename but
has a tmp or tilde then
this might be what you
need.

otherwise, you are likely
out of luck.
