owa should notify outside of browser window

Outlook Web Access should notify users of new email with an icon in the user
tray or a popup outside of the browser window so if a new email arrives and
the owa is minimized the user will know he has a new email.

funny, not.

nice of microsoft to depend on third parties to write code for their
software. then when something goes wrong they dont have to support it
because its not a supported solution.

plus the below software doesnt work with exchange 2007.

isnt microsoft moving to web based apps and services. maybe looking at
making owa better should be rated higher on the list of to do's.

our email client was 8 years old before we switched to owa. guess what our
employees want back, the 8 year old email client. guess what has left a bad
taste in their mouth. microsoft's owa.

outlook is great i guess. just to much. to much to learn, to support and
to patch. after all it is just email.

now outlook express, thats something.

thanks,
bh
