I have a sniffer routine which sniffs out the owc component and attempts a
download at
http://download.microsoft.com/download/OfficeXPStandard/owc10/1033/WIN98MeXP/EN-US/owc10.exe
I'd like to break this dependency on microsoft and put the installer on my
webserver. I'm running into trouble here. I link to owc10.msi and it starts
to install but then it bombs out looking for office1.cab file on my hard
drive. What files must I put on the webserver and what must the link go to
for this to work like the above microsoft link? Are there licensing issues
for me to worry about?
Linking to owc10.exe on my server gives a page not found error.
