OWC11 works slower then OWC10

Hello,

I use OWC PivotTable and Chart components on the server
(Windows Server 2003 SP1 + IIS 6) through
the COM Interop. OWC10 works just fine. But when I tried to switch to
version 11 two problems have arisen:

1. OWC11 works 2-3 times slower than 10.
2. If I stop/start the worker process on IIS then first call to
the PivotTable returns error message:
"The query could not be processed:
o The data provider didn't supply any further error information."

All subsequent calls are OK, except the performance problem.

I have been struggling against it for several days, but now I am
absolutely out of ideas what it could be.

Anybody could help me, please?

Nobody has had such problem??? I still can not resolve it. Looks like I
have to
switch back to the version 10.

The times when this has been an issue tend to be related to service packs
not being installed or windows updates that were missing. if you are up to
date on all of these, then i suggest removing owc11 and re-installing it -
clean install not a repair

Alvin, thank you for reply.

I have all available Windows updates and service packs installed.

For OWC I have the following:

Office 2003 Service Pack 1
Office XP Service Pack 1
Office XP Service Pack 3

I tried to remove and reinstall OWC10 and OWC11.
Also, yesterday I tried to deploy everything on another server
(Windows Server 2003 SP1) - nothing helps.

Please submit this as a bug.

One more question before you do. what is your application doing? Are you
massaging a lot of data?
