Yes it is ... ?
On 2002 both owc9 and owc10 are available...in frontpage insert web component, choose advanced objects, choose activex-object and locate microsoft office pivottable 9.0 on the list...

office 2000 ships with owc9, xp ships with owc9 and owc10, office 2003 ships with owc10 and owc11.
