Ownership of a template??

Hi,

I created and saved in the server, a template for a project when I was
signed as user1, later I tried to create and publish a project using that
template, but signed as user2 , I was able to use the template but now the
updates from the resources in that project are directed to User1 not to
user2 , My question is how can specify that the one who needs to receive
notifocations is the owner of the project (user2), and not the owner of the
template (user1)??,

Do the following:

1. Open Microsoft Project 2002 and log into Project Server as user2
2. Open the project in question
3. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments..
4. In the dialog box, select the "Become the manager for these assignments"
option and then click OK

Doing so will redirect the task updates to user2. Hope this helps.
