Like others, opening Word 2000 has been a challenge since installing XP. The
message I get is:

The instruction at "OX77f58267 referenced memory at OXfffffff8." The memory
could not be "read." Click okay to terminate program.

When I click okay it bounces around for awhile but ultimately does open
Word. However, it does something to the normal.dot file, which I keep having
to fix. Anything I type on a new document page becomes the normal.dot file.

This is getting old. Any ideas for help?

Thanks,
Caron
