you can do an Advanced Search at the Google Groups website, on any or all of
these public newsgroups. i've found numerous relevant posts by utilizing it.

Select Advanced Search and limit the search to
microsoft.public.access.* or microsoft.public.access.forms, use any
other constraints you wish.

Even us MVP's and many Microsoft employees use it rather than
Microsoft's search.

I'm not sure which version of the web-based newsreader you're using, but
the ones I've seen do have a search box.

I agree with Tina that Google groups is a much better way to go than to use
the search feature on this site. In Google you can restrict the search to a
date range and otherwise refine it in a way you cannot do at the MS groups
page.
