[P7] Outlook and Dates

In Project 2007, the Outlook Add-in works fine. When the person updates the
percentage of work done, we would also like for them to have the ability to
modify the "start" and ":finish" dates. Is there no way to do that from the
Outlook Add-in when updating a task?

I'm trying to recall from memory, but if you enter actuals outside of the
start/finish dates using the Outlook add-in then the dates should be
reflected in the schedule once the updates have been accepted.

Hi CQ,

it depends on your tracking method. I have double checked and actual start
updates automatically when your tracking method is "hours of work done per
period"

If you use the Percent of work complete method it appears that you cannot
update actual start date ( which I agree would make a lot of sense ) :)
