[P7] VAC and EAC Rollup

C

CQ

I am using the earned value field of VAC and EAC. What I want it to do is to
rollup (sum) the non-summary tasks for each section into the summary task.
Instead, it is calculating by some other means that I don't understand. I
have "actual costs are calculated by Microsoft..." unchecked. BAC is set.
However, EAC and VAC don't seem to rollup right.

Examples
This is the way it looks now:
BAC EAC VAC
SUMMARY TASK 2888 2722 166
Task One 963 907 55
Task Two 963 963 0
Task Three 962 963 0

This is what I expect:
BAC EAC VAC
SUMMARY TASK 2888 2833 55
Task One 963 907 55
Task Two 963 963 0
Task Three 962 963 0

What is happening here?

CQ,

What's your status date? EV always measured the values till Status
date that you set.

Also make sure that you are using the correct baseline. Verify the
baseline number: Tools -> Options -> Calculation -> Click on Earned
Value

Also Choose the option "Edits to totak task % complete will be spread
to the statu date

I hope thi helps.

Thanks
Chak
